I always make the kids wait until I've put the glue layer on top - before their allowed to play with anything glittered. It prevents most falling off - not all!Rachael Dorrhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14060734981147545844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1316297849676502332.post-76257208767083134372013-09-11T21:25:53.057-04:002013-09-11T21:25:53.057-04:00Oh wow! My poor daycare kids are glitter-deprived because I have an aversion to the stuff, but the glaze! That just might be the answer!<br>Jackie Curriehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14311971939320006317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1316297849676502332.post-18358662950937595812013-07-23T09:08:20.052-04:002013-07-23T09:08:20.052-04:00Thank you so much Heather for such a lovely commen...Thank you so much Heather for such a lovely comment. Did you paint and glitter the star separately and then glue it on later?Jack and Sherylhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06743033029738273165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1316297849676502332.post-87000492669354942782013-04-25T14:53:16.571-04:002013-04-25T14:53:16.571-04:00Those are some pretty fancy bracelets!!Those are some pretty fancy bracelets!!Suehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05100381901254968075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1316297849676502332.post-76281692347580412312013-04-18T12:36:28.815-04:002013-04-18T12:36:28.815-04:00Thank you so much for your comment ctb. We found that all the layers, glue & glitter actually made the paper rolls quite stiff - when we cut them after all the layers and glitter we bent the paper tubes - they didn't look as perfect. The layers also made the cutting quite hard and the edges were not as neat. Plus glitter went flying as we cut. We really did try lots of ways - and cutting the rolls first seemed to work the best for us.Rachael Rabbithttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14060734981147545844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1316297849676502332.post-9359983147334351532013-04-18T12:04:48.581-04:002013-04-18T12:04:48.581-04:00Super idée !Super idée !Bricolentehttp://dcomme.over-blog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1316297849676502332.post-32570366796682793392013-04-18T10:24:29.508-04:002013-04-18T10:24:29.508-04:00Have you tried painting w/ glitter first & the...Have you tried painting w/ glitter first & then cutting?
